150 yds of Springy Capelli (or Kid Mohair)

Instructions are for One size

Finished measurements:
Width = 17" to fit Head size 21"
Length = 13"

US #8 Needles
Rib Stitch K2-P2

Note: Use One Strand of Recycled Silk and One Strand of Springy Capelli throughout.

Beginning: Cast on 70 sts K2 - P2 for 10" or to desired length. End with a purl

Crown: Begin decreases, *k/p 9, k2tog repeat until the end of the row Next Row: p/k back. Continue decreasing every other row, knitting 1 less stitch between decs. *k/p 8, k2togs* Purl *knit 7, k2tog*-PurlÉ Continue until 6sts remain. BO.

Finishing: Sew the back seam, finishing at crown of hat.
