Note: Use two strands of yarn throughout: 1 strand of Springy Capelli (carry throughout to add stretch and softness) and 1 strand of Tie Dyed Viscose or Novelty Ribbons as Indicated in Pattern

Square Motif: With BB, ch4, 1 sl st in first ch made.
Rnd 1: With BB, ch1, 11sc in ring. Sl st to ch1 to join rnd. Fasten off with BB.
Rnd 2: With R, ch3, (counts as 1st dc), 1dc into same st. 2dc in ea sc around. Sl st in top of ch3 to join. 24 dc.
Rnd 3: With TV/SC, ch1*ch3, sc in 3rd dc, rep from * around. Sl st into1st ch1 to join rnd.
Rnd 4: Sl st to 1st ch sp, ch3, 4dc in same ch sp. 5dc in each ch sp around. Sl st to 3rd ch of ch3 to join rnd. Rnd 5: Ch4, tr in same sp, *ch3, sc in center dc of 5dc, ch3, sc in 1st dc of 5dc, ch3, sc in center dc of 5dc, ch3, 2tc in 1st dc of 5dc; rep from * 2x more. Ch3, sc in center dc of 5dc, ch3 sc in 1st dc of 5dc, ch3, sc in center dc of 5dc, ch3, join with sl st to top of beg ch4. Fasten off with TV/SC. 40dc.

For Medium/Large only
Rnd 6: Sl st to center of tr, ch4, tr in same sp, *ch2, (sc in ch sp, ch2) rep to center of 2tc, 2 tc in center of tr, * rep to end, join with sl st to top of beg ch4. Fasten off with TV/SC For large only
Rnd 7: Sl st to center of 2tr, ch4, tr in same sp, *ch2, (sc in ch sp, ch2) rep to center of 2tc, 2tc in center of tr, * rep to end, join with sl st to top of beg ch4. Fasten off with TV/SC

Joining Motif Squares: With L and wrong side facing, *sc in 1st corner between 2tc, sc in same 2nd motif corner, ch2, sc in 1st motif ch sp, ch2, sc in 2nd motif ch sp. Rep in this manner to join all motifs.

Front Left: With 4 squares for side front. Join 4 squares vertically.

Front Right: Make 7 square motifs for RIGHT side of front. Join 3 squares vertically for Center Front 1st row. Join 4 squares vertically for 2nd row (Extra Square for top for shoulder).

Back: With 12 squares. Join 3 Rows with 4 squares each together for back.

Seaming: Join shoulder seams. Join side seams to desired length of armhole in the same manner. Place 3 buttons evenly spaced along Left Front 3 squares.

Finishing: With R/SC, and right sides facing, work sc edge around all edges of vest.
