300 yds of Springy Capelli (or Kid Mohair)

SCARF: US #13 Needles - Garter Stitch
Crochet Hook to attach Fringe

Note: Use two strands of yarn throughout 1 strand of Springy Capelli and 1 strand of Recycled Silk or Novelty Yarn. Alternate Recycled Silk and Novelty Yarn (Bumble Bee and Ribbons) every 4 to 5 rows

Scarf: Cast on 12 sts and knit every row (garter stitch) for 58" or to desired length. Fringe is tied into the ends of the scarf.
Fringe: Cut 48 - 20" using 4 pieces for each fringe, attach 6 fringes on each end.
Hint: If you measure and cut fringe before you start knitting scarf, you will know that you are done knitting when you are out of yarn. Take four strands of silk and 4 strand of mohair or embellishment yarn, fold in half and use crochet hook to pull fringe through and knot. Attach 6 fringed tassels evenly across end of each side of scarf.

Hat: Cast on 70 sts knit every row for 7".
Begin decreases, *knit 9, k2tog repeat until the end of the row. Next row Kit all stitches. Continue decreasing every other row, knitting 1 less stitch between decs. *knit 8, k2togs, *knit 7, k2tog*-. When 6sts remain and cut the tail 20", thread through the remaining sts. Use the remainder of yarn tail to sew the back seam.
