450 yds Capelli (or Kid Mohair)
Bumble Bee 100 yds
Cotton Ribbon 150 yds
Lurex Ribbon 75 yds

Instructions are for One Size

US #13 Needles to give proper gauge

* Gauge: 9 sts = 4" / 13 rows = 4" 9
Stockinette Stitch
*Be sure gauge is correct or you might run out of yarn

Note: Use two strands of yarn throughout: 1 strand of Capelli and 1 strand of Recycled Silk or Novelty Yarn Alternate Recycled Silk and Novelty Yarn (Bumble Bee and Ribbons) every 4 to 5 rows

Note: Always knit with two strands of yarn, one will be the Capelli the second will be Recycled Silk or one of the Novelty Yarns. Change the novelty yarn every 2" or 3".

Poncho: CO 40 sts. Knit in St st (knit one row, purl one row) changing yarns as desired, until piece measures 50" long. BO. Fold poncho in half across the narrow width lining up the BO and CO edges. Starting at the outside corner, seam two side edges together towards the fold. Leave a large enough hole to get your head through (seam will be approximately 14" long).

Fringe: Cut 11" pieces. Using 3 strands of silk and one strand of embellishment yarn, attach fringe in every other CO and BO st.
