450 yds of Springy Capelli
Instructions are for size Small (Medium/Large)
Finished measurements:
Chest: 33"(36,41)
Length: 20"(20.5, 21)
Needle: US #10.5 or #11 - or to give correct gauge
*Gauge: 11 sts = 4" 13 rows = 4"
Stockinette Stitch
Note: Use two strands of yarn together: 1 strand of Bali Sky Sarong and 1 strand of Springy Capelli (carry throughout to add stretch and softness)
* Note: The Springy Capelli Color will Tint the Color Of Vest
For 2-Tone Effect use 2 Different Colors of Springy Capelli

Strips (Make 5): With Viscose and Springy held together, cast on 16(18,20 )sts and work in st st until piece measures 20(201/2,21) inches. Bind off.
Pockets: (Make 2) Cast on 16(18,20) sts and work in St st for 5" bind off.
Gussets: (make 2) Cast on 7(7,10) sts and work in St st for 11(111/2,113/4) inches, Bind off.
Finishing: Sew 3 long strips together to form back. Sew the gussets to each edge of back starting at bottom edge. To each gusset, sew the last 2 strips to form the fronts. Sew the top of each front to the top of the back for shoulders.
Welt: with ribbon, pick up and knit along the right front edge, back neck and left front edge 118(120,122) sts. Work 6 rows in knit 2/ purl 2 ribbing. Bind off.
Stitching: Stitch pockets to bottom of each front.
Optional Edging: work 1 row of single crochet (sc), with 2 chains in between each sc around
armholes, bottom edge and pocket tops.
