pre-stitching measurements:
25" x 50"
US #13 Needles - to give correct gauge
Pattern: Row 1 (RS): K across
Row 2 (WS): K3, p 18, k3
* Gauge: 9 sts = 4" ~ Stockinette Stitch
St st = stockinette stitch. RS rows knit, WS rows purl.
* Be sure gauge is correct or you might run out of yarn
Note: Use two strands of yarn throughout 1 strand of Capelli and 1 strand of Recycled Silk or Novelty Yarn. Alternate Recycled Silk and Novelty Yarn (Bumble Bee and Ribbons) every 4 to 5 rows

Poncho: CO 40 sts. Knit in St st (knit one row, purl one row), changing yarns as desired, until piece measures 50" long. BO.
Finishing: Fold poncho in half across the narrow width lining up the BO and CO edges. Start at the outside corner, seam two side edges together towards the fold. Leave a large enough hole to get your head through (seam will be approximately 14" long).
