600 yds of Springy Capelli (or Kid Mohair)
Bumble Bee 150 yds, Cotton Ribbon 150 yds, Lurex Ribbon 75 yds
Instructions are for size Small (Medium, Large)
Finished measurements:
Chest: 54" (58, 62)"
Length: 21" from back neck to gently curving bottom edge.
*Garment body is 54" (58,62) X 42" piece, folded in half
Sleeves are attached to each side at folded edge.
Body: US #13 - - or to give correct
*Gauge 9 sts = 4" ~ 10 rows = 4"
Sleeves: US #10.5 or #11 - to give correct gauge
*Gauge : 11 sts = 4" ~ 13 rows = 4"
Stitches Required: Stockinette Stitch & Rib Knit Stitch
Note: Use 2 Strands of Yarn at all times:
Springy Capelli (carry throughout to add stretch and softness)
& Tie Dyed Viscose or Bumble Bee
Use Ribbon for Sleeve Cuffs and Collar Ribbing. Use Lurex Ribbon for Decorative Detail above Ribbing
(TV) Tie Dyed Viscose
(BB) Bumble Bee
(R) Ribbon
(L) Lurex

Pattern: Knit with Tie Dyed Viscose 4-5 rows then switch to Bumble Bee for 1 row or switch randomly throughout body and sleeves.
Note: Cast on and Bind off very loosely for maximum stretch around curves when garment is on the body.
Body: With "R" and #13 needle, Cast on 108(116,124) sts and work in 2/2 rib (Knit 2/Purl2) until piece measures 3(3,3 1/2)inches.
Next row: With "TV" & "SC" held together,*K2 together* across the row 54(58, 62) sts, continue in St st for 5 Rows. change "TV" to "BB" (do not change SC) With "BB" & "SC" held together, K1 Row; Change "BB" to "TV" repeat until 26" from beginning.
Next row: change to Ribbon and increase in every stitch (108 sts.). Continue in 2/2 rib for 3"(3,3 1/2)inches .Bind off loosely.
Sleeves: With an #11 needle and ""TV" & "SC" held together Cast on 32(34, 36)sts. Work in 1/1 rib (knit 1 stitch/ purl 1 stitch) for 3 1/4(31/2,3 3/4)inches.
Next row: begin St st for 5 Rows. Cut change "TV" to "BB" (do not change SC) With Bumble Bee and Springy held together, K1 Row; Change "BB" to "TV". work even for 9 1/4" from beginning)
Next row: Increase 1 st at each end of every other row until 44(46,48) sts. Work even until sleeve is 14 1/2 or desired length and bind off.
Finishing: Sew in sleeves matching center of sleeve to center point of body.
Sew underarm and sleeve seams.
Decorative Detail: Loosely Thread "L" in and out of the stitches just above the ribbing.
