Finished measurements:
Length: 10 1/2"
Width 45"

US #10.5 or 11 Needles - to give correct gauge

* Gauge: 11 sts = 4" ~ 13 rows = 4"
Stockinette Stitch St st = stockinette stitch. RS rows knit, WS rows purl.

Note: Use two strands of yarn throughout 1 strand of Springy Capelli and 1 strand of Recycled Silk or Novelty Yarn Alternate Recycled Silk and Novelty Yarn (Bumble Bee and Ribbons) every 4 to 5 rows

Stole/Cape: Starting at bottom of stole, CO 120 sts. Beginning with RS row work 6 rows in St st., ending with WS row. BO 10 sts at beginning of next two rows (100 sts).

Hint: Mark the 6th st bound off on row 7 so you can locate it later for the ribbed band. Continue working in St st, beginning with RS row, dec 1 st at each end every other row (every RS row) 20 times, ending with a WS row (60 sts).

Next row (RS): K6, *k2 tog, k4 repeat from * 7 times, k6 (48 sts) Next row (WS): P1, *p2tog, repeat from * until last st, p1 (25sts). BO loosely.

Ribbed band. Beginning at 6th bound off st on row 7 (the one you marked earlier), pick up 4 sts along remaining BO edge, 36 sts along side edge, 26 sts across top (25 bound off sts), 36 sts down other side and 4 sts across top of tab (the 10 bound off sts on row 8, (106 sts).

Row 1 (WS): P2 tog, *k2, p2 repeat from * to last 3 sts, k2 p2 tog (104 sts).

Row 2 (RS): P2 tog, p1, *k2, p2 repeat from * to last 5 sts, k2,p1, p2 tog (102 sts).

Row 3 (WS): K2 tog * p2, k2 repeat from * to last 4 sts, p2, k2 tog (100 sts) Work even in rib as set for two more rows. BO.

Finishing: With one strand of Recycled Silk and one strand of Novelty yarn, right side facing, work one row of single crochet around entire outer edge of piece. At outer corners you will need to work two sc to round the corner smoothly.
